Pro Tip: Add a few drops of lavender essential oil to your bath for relaxation, or peppermint oil for a refreshing soak.

Step 2: Cleanse & Exfoliate

Start with a clean slate by washing your face and gently exfoliating to remove dead skin cells.

Easy Homemade Scrubs

1. Brown Sugar & Olive Oil Scrub

  • 2 tbsp brown sugar

  • 1 tbsp olive oil

  • 1 drop vanilla extract for fragrance or any other fragrance of your choice (optional)

Mix together 2 tbsp of brown sugar, 1 tbsp olive oil and a drop of vanilla extract. Gently rub the scrub on your face for a soft and smooth skin with a subtle glow.
*Note Do not be too harsh with the scrub on your face.

2. Rice Flour & Honey Glow Scrub

  • 1 tbsp rice flour

  • 1 tbsp honey

  • 1 tsp lemon juice

In a bowl mix together 1 tbsp of rice floor, 1 tbsp of honey and 1tsp of lemon. This mixture will give your skin a natural brightness and helps in controlling excess oil. You can also use the exfoliating gloves to gently scrub your face with this mixture.

Step 3: Nourishing Face Masks

After exfoliating your face, it’s time to feed your skin with some nutrient-rich ingredients. Below are some face mask recipes that are easy to make at home.

1. Banana & Honey Hydration Mask

  • ½ ripe banana

  • 1 tbsp honey

In a bowl mash half of a ripe banana and add 1 tbsp of honey. Mix it well and apply on your face. Leave it on your face for around 15 minutes and then rinse with water. It hydrates and soothes dry and tired skin.

2. Turmeric & Yogurt Brightening Mask

  • 1 tsp turmeric powder

  • 2 tbsp yogurt

Mix together 1 tsp of turmeric powder and 2 tbsp of yogurt. Leave it on your face for 15 minutes and rinse with water. It helps in achieving even skin tone and adds natural radiance to the skin. Use organic turmeric powder to get the best results.

3. Oatmeal & Milk Calming Mask

  • 2 tbsp oats

  • 2 tbsp milk or rose water

Soak 2 tbsp of oats in 2 tbsp of milk or rose water. Once it is soft, make a paste and apply on your face for 15 - 20 minutes. This mask is suitable for anybody with sensitive skin, as it helps to calm the sensitive skin and reduce the redness.

Step 4: Moisturize & Massage

Once you are done with the cleansing and masking of the skin, now is the time to lock in hydration with a gentle body oil or cream. Below is a DIY massage oil blend which you can massage onto your shoulders, hands and feet for deep relaxation. Also you can use tools like facial rollers and gua sha for better results.

Mix all the ingredients in a dropper bottle. Take few drops on your palm and rub on the body part that needs massage.

Step 5: Wrap Up in Comfort

After your treatments, wrap yourself in something cozy and warm to seal in the relaxation. Slip into a soft, fluffy robe and let your body fully unwind as your skin absorbs all the nourishing goodness from your spa routine. Light a soothing candle, sip on herbal tea, and enjoy a few quiet moments of calm. This final step helps you transition from self-care to deep relaxation, leaving you refreshed, rejuvenated, and ready for a restful night.

Finish your ritual with a cup of chamomile or green tea, light another candle, and take a few minutes to journal or meditate.
